Thank you to all players and their parents who participated in our Season 2021 Representative basketball team tryouts. Our representative program continues to strengthen - this year we had the highest number of participants in our club's history, topping last season’s record number.
Not only were there more participants than ever, the coaches were impressed with the growing level of talent of our players. The increased number of players along with the VJBL limitations on the number of teams in the 2021 season means team selections were very difficult this season.
Our coaching teams took great care and time to make informed decisions about player selections. If you have not been successful in being selected, we encourage you to consider the Westgate Imperials Academy which will allow your kids to work on skills and development before the 2022 tryouts. More information will be provided when we kick off the Academy in the new year.
