Green Shirts Program - Registration for Term 1 2022 is now OPEN!
Get involved in officiating the game you love and earn money. Westgate Basketball conducts referee schools for interested people wanting to become referees.
If you're 14 years or older, play at Westgate Basketball or attend Victoria University, you could be eligible to be part of of our Green Shirts Learn to Referee Program.
Our successful candidates will
- Attend theory 2 sessions.
- Receive on-court training during our Saturday Domestic competition.
- Receive one-on-one coaching support.
A $60 Registration Fee will cover you for all training materials & equipment required during the course.
Course duration: approximately 12 weeks. The aim of the program is to develop participant's skills to achieve referee Level 1C qualification
Compulsory attendance for 2 Theory sessions on
Sundays 20th & 27th Feb - 2pm to 4pm Classroom followed by Practical 4pm to 5pm on court.
