Domestic competition
Age Eligibility for Winter 2025 Season
The age groups will remain in line with the VJBL (Victorian Junior Basketball League).
Age groups are defined by the age of a player at the 31st of December of the year the season ends in (ie end of 2025).
For the Winter 2025 Season the years of birth and the applicable age groups are:
- 2018 & 2019 & Optional if born after 1st October 2017 (Winter Season) - Under 8s Mixed
- 2016 & 2017 - Under 10 Girls & Boys
- 2014 & 2015 - Under 12 Girls & Boys
- 2012 & 2013 - Under 14 Girls & Boys
- 2010 & 2011 - Under 16 Girls & Boys
- 2008 & 2009 - Under 18 Boys
- 2007, 2008 & 2009 - Under 19 Girls

Our Domestic Competition is a great way for kids in the inner west of Melbourne to enjoy the sport of basketball. We have a number of clubs located through out the inner west.
