Westgate Basketball proudly fields Victorian Championship (VC) and Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL) mens teams in the U20s competion, providing our athletes with the opportunity to compete at the highest junior levels in Victoria.
Our U20 teams form part of the senior program at Westgate and train with our Youth League team
To participate in U20 trials players must register via PlayHQ to participate in trials and be considered for selection.
If you are currently playing with another club, you will need to obtain a Permission to Train (PTT) form before attending any trials.

This is a fantastic opportunity to train under Coach Adam Sicinski, an experienced and successful coach who has guided junior and senior teams to championship success. Adam is passionate about developing athletes, fostering teamwork, and creating a strong pathway for women’s basketball at Westgate.
All trials will be held at RecWest Braybrook.

Westgate Basketball is proud to launch trials for our Youth Men Big V program for the 2026 season. This is your chance to be part of one of the fastest-growing senior pathways in Melbourne’s west.
Led by Coach Livai Smith, our Youth Men program is built on hard work, culture, and opportunity. Livai brings a wealth of basketball experience, having competed in NBL1, Big V, and 3x3, and most recently playing in a Big V Championship Men’s Grand Final.
